Your Visit

A comprehensive ocular examination will be performed, concentrating on the retina. An ophthalmic technician will initially examine you by reviewing your medical history and checking your vision. Your pupils will be dilated in order to examine the retina. Dr. Gandhi will then review your history and perform a thorough retinal examination, using specialized tests as needed in order to confirm the diagnosis and determine the best course of treatment. Dr. Gandhi will fully discuss your diagnosis and possible treatment options with you and your family, and take time to address your concerns. We will convey the results of our findings to your referring eye doctors and primary care doctors in order to maintain a team approach to managing your retinal condition. Your visit may last about two hours, and we recommend you bring a driver.
